Empowering talent at the Port of Santos
At COFCO International, our people are central to delivering efficient and responsible supply chains. From farms to ports, we aim to create a safe, inclusive workplace where every employee can thrive—regardless of gender, background or role.
Naylla Braz, Navigation Coordinator at COFCO International’s Santos terminal, managing vessel and truck scheduling at one of Brazil’s busiest grain ports.
At our port terminal in Santos, Brazil, Naylla Braz is leading by example. As Navigation Coordinator, she’s responsible for scheduling vessel movements and truck logistics—helping manage a flow that will soon reach up to 700 trucks per day. In a role traditionally held by men, Naylla brings a calm, determined presence to one of the busiest points in our value chain.
For Naylla, leadership doesn’t come from raising your voice—it comes from clear communication, respect and strong coordination. “You can show strength in many ways,” she says. “I believe female strength is in negotiation and in how we deal with people.”
Naylla’s message to other women is simple: “Do what you love. Face the challenge. Go after it. You can—without a doubt.”
